On the initiative of The Fund of the President of Ukraine for the support of Education, Science, and Sports Ukrainian startups will be represented for the first time at the international EdTech conference Bett UK 2024.

The Fund of the President of Ukraine for the support of Education, Science, and Sports initiated Ukraine’s participation in one of the world’s largest events in the field of educational technologies (EdTech) – Bett UK 2024. Ukrainian startups will be presented at the EdTech conference, which will take place in London from January 24 to 26, 2024, for the first time.

Bett UK is a global meeting place for the EdTech community, where Ukrainian startups will have a unique opportunity to showcase their innovative products and establish connections and collaborations with international partners. Over 600 participating companies, more than 30,000 educators, and innovators from 123 countries will gather in the capital of the United Kingdom to present their solutions in the field of educational technologies.

Along with  the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, and the accelerator YEP, The Fund of the President of Ukraine for the support of Education, Science, and Sports invites Ukrainian startups to participate in the competition for the right to be the first to represent Ukraine at Bett UK 2024.

This opportunity for Ukrainian startups is not only a chance to showcase their products at perhaps the world’s largest EdTech platform but also an honor and responsibility: to become part of the first Ukrainian delegation heading to BETT UK 2024,” commented Ulyana Avtonomova, Advisor to the Director The Fund of the President of Ukraine for the support of Education, Science, and Sports on Development and International Activities.

Key requirements for startups:

  • EdTech startup at the Seed or Series A stage.
  • Demonstrated traction, customer base, and secured investments.
  • Registered and operating in Ukraine, positioned as Ukrainian (this should be indicated on the website and all publicly accessible resources, such as Crunchbase).
  • Willing to cover travel and accommodation expenses during the conference.

Selection stages:

  • Completion of the product/service application.
  • Verification for compliance with competition conditions.
  • Participation in the pitch and presentation of the startup to the jury.
  • Selection of 8 teams based on evaluation by jury members and invitation to the Ukrainian delegation at Bett UK 2024.

The language for completing the application and presentation is English.

The application is available in the personal account of the Ukrainian Startup Fund portal in the “Partner Programs” section.

Application deadline for the competition: November 20.
