I’m Here: The Fund of the President of Ukraine and McCann Launch the “Study in Ukraine” Campaign

The Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports, together with creative agency McCann Kyiv, has launched the “Study in Ukraine” information campaign, aimed at supporting young people’s choice to stay in Ukraine for education, growth, and professional fulfilment.

Amid the full-scale war, this choice carries particular significance: Ukrainian education, student communities, and opportunities for young people are part of the country’s resilience and the foundation of its future recovery.

The campaign is already present on advertising spaces across almost all of Ukraine: on billboards, citylights, banners, and signage. The materials have also been distributed digitally — on websites and social media.

Its core message is that Ukrainian education opens up opportunities for learning, growth, professional fulfilment, and a future in Ukraine.

At the heart of the campaign is the phrase “I’m Here.” It reads as a young person’s personal decision to stay in Ukraine, to study, develop their skills, build a career, form teams, work with new technologies, and be part of change in their own country.

The creative executions combine light, youth-friendly language with meaningful content:

  • “I’m here to study artificial intelligence and real emotions”;
  • “I’m here to study in English, but love in Ukrainian”;
  • “I’m here for the chance to become a minister by 35”;
  • “I’m here to study once and graduate with two degrees”;
  • “I’m here to meet future co-founders in class”.
"It was important for us to speak to young people in their own language. The 'Study in Ukraine' campaign shows that Ukrainian education is about environment, people, opportunities, professional growth, and a sense of being part of your country's future,"
said Yuriy Petrushenko, Director of the Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports.

The campaign’s goal is to strengthen young people’s motivation to choose Ukrainian educational institutions and stay in Ukraine for education, growth, and professional fulfillment. Amid the full-scale war, this is also about strengthening the country’s human capital.

The team at the Fund of the President of Ukraine is grateful to creative agency McCann Kyiv, which contributed pro bono to the design and creative concept, promotional materials, and video content of the campaign. The Fund’s partnership with McCann is an example of state-business collaboration, in which the creative industry’s expertise serves an important social purpose — supporting Ukrainian youth and Ukrainian education.
