The Presidential Foundation of Ukraine cooperates with Israel to create a safe educational environment

A safe educational environment can only be created through close cooperation between different agencies of our country. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine takes an active and responsible approach to this task, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine considers the safety of pupils and students to be a top priority.

Recently, the team of the Presidential Foundation for Education, Science and Sports visited Israel. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the formation of a specialized group of coaches and supervisors to create a safe educational environment in Ukraine. According to our partners from Israel, this group should include not only education and psychology specialists, but also security experts.

During the visit, our delegation had the opportunity to study the Israeli experience in the field of prevention, training and emergency response in educational institutions. This approach, which has been successfully implemented in Israel over the past 20 years, will be adapted to the needs of Ukraine.

The visit resulted in the development of a joint project that envisages the implementation of psychological support and physical security measures in Ukrainian schools. This project will soon be submitted for approval.
