The Fund of the President of Ukraine has been granted European Talent Point status within the European Talent Support Network
The Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports has joined the European Talent Support Network (ETSN) and has been granted European Talent Point status.
This decision brings the Fund of the President of Ukraine into the international community of institutions working to identify, support, and develop talented young people. European Talent Point status also provides access to European experts, educational and scientific institutions, professional events, training courses, and platforms for exchanging experience in working with gifted youth.
For the Fund, participation in the ETSN is part of a broader effort to create a sustainable talent development ecosystem in Ukraine and a long-term pathway for young people: from recognition and financial support to access to quality education, international experience, professional environments, and opportunities for fulfillment in Ukraine.
During the full-scale war, talent development has become a critical component of national resilience. Ukraine needs young people who envision their future at home, receive high-quality education domestically, engage in strong professional communities, and are equipped to apply their knowledge to the country’s recovery and long-term reconstruction.
The Fund is already working on this task through presidential scholarships and awards, support for winners of national and international academic competitions, dual-degree programs, inviting foreign professors to teach at Ukrainian universities, developing a community of talented young people, and international educational initiatives. The Fund of the President of Ukraine will continue to work to ensure that talented young people have more reasons to study, research, create, and build their professional careers in Ukraine.

The Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports was established to develop and support talented young people and to preserve, restore, and unlock Ukraine’s human potential. The Fund’s main areas of activity include supporting youth education in Ukraine, internships, participation in international scientific and practical seminars and conferences, attracting foreign professors to work in Ukrainian educational and scientific institutions, and rewarding young people for achievements in educational, scientific, and sporting activities.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Fund has been developing programs that strengthen Ukrainian education, science, and sport through international partnerships, business engagement, educational diplomacy, digital tools, and support for talented young people. Key areas of work include awarding scholarships and distinctions from the President of Ukraine, Twinning, UK-UA dual degree programs, developing a safe educational environment, programs for university management teams, UK-UA STEM PRO, and the UK-UA Visiting Professors Programme.
The European Talent Support Network was founded in 2015 at the European Parliament in Brussels. Today, the network brings together over 400 European talent development centers in more than 40 countries worldwide. It includes institutions from Europe and non-European countries, notably Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and the Balkan countries, as well as India, Peru, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
