The Fund of the President of Ukraine Joins the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children

The Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports has become a member of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC).

The Fund’s membership in WCGTC opens new opportunities for strengthening international cooperation in supporting talented Ukrainian youth. In particular, it will enable the Fund to:

  • integrate Ukrainian talent development initiatives into a global expert network;
  • establish partnerships with leading international organizations and centers supporting gifted youth;
  • engage Ukrainian school students, university students, and early-career researchers in international programs, conferences, and educational opportunities;
  • promote Ukraine’s experience in supporting talented youth at the global level.

Membership in the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children represents an important step toward enhancing the Fund’s international presence and creating new opportunities for Ukrainian talent to thrive within the global academic and educational community.

The Fund will continue to expand cooperation with leading international organizations to ensure that gifted Ukrainian youth have access to the best educational and research opportunities worldwide.

 

Background

The Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports was established to foster the systematic development of talented youth, support research, and enhance the global competitiveness of Ukrainian education.

The World Council for Gifted and Talented Children is a leading international organization that brings together research centers, educational institutions, and experts from more than 50 countries working in the field of gifted and talented education. The organization promotes international exchange of knowledge and best practices, advances research on gifted education, supports the implementation of innovative educational approaches, and contributes to the development of global strategies for nurturing talent.

WCGTC was founded in London in 1975, and since 2011 its headquarters have been located in the United States.
