The UK–UA STEM PRO program is aimed at strengthening cooperation between the academic communities of Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The initiative is designed to provide participants with modern knowledge, practical tools and international contacts for the development of scientific research, its commercialization and the creation of partnerships with business. Participation in the program will contribute to the development of sustainable ties between universities and the business sector, the formation of joint projects and the development of the innovative economy of Ukraine.
The program was launched on the initiative of the Fund of the President of Ukraine, in partnership with the University of Warwick and with the support of the UK–Ukraine Academic Diaspora Network and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom.
• Teachers and young scientists of Ukrainian higher education institutions and scientific institutions in STEM fields up to 35 years of age, inclusive, who have a higher education of at least the second (master's) level, or scientists up to 40 years of age, inclusive, who have a doctoral degree.
• With an English language level of at least B2 (confirmed by an IELTS, TOEFL, BEC, Aptis certificate, Duolingo test result). If necessary, an online interview may be conducted, which serves as a final test of the real ability to communicate in English.
