The Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports is launching a new initiative to advance Ukrainian higher education — the UK–UA Visiting Professors Programme (EDU CONNECT). This programme offers universities the opportunity to host professors with solid teaching and research experience from leading UK institutions ranked among the global TOP-250 (QS, THE, or ARWU).
The programme aims to strengthen Ukraine’s integration into the international academic community and elevate the quality of STEM education — a field that plays a crucial role in enhancing national resilience, supporting the country’s recovery, and ensuring its long-term stability. Cooperation between Ukrainian and UK universities combines the expertise and modern approaches of two academic cultures, providing Ukrainian students and faculty with direct access to world-class practices.
Within the programme, British professors will not only deliver lectures but will also participate in joint research, offer consultations, conduct public talks and practical sessions, and make mandatory in-person visits to Ukrainian universities. This format ensures deeper knowledge exchange, supports the development of research projects, and expands international academic partnerships.
The UK–UA Visiting Professors Programme is implemented by the Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports in partnership with the UK–Ukraine Academic Diaspora Network.
