📜 The phenomenon of Ukrainian invincibility: history that is happening today
History, law and social sciences play a key role in the formation of civil society and national identity. Ukrainian youth not only acquire knowledge in these areas, but also actively use them to defend rights, develop the state and preserve historical memory.
🔹 Oleksandr Alferov, a Ukrainian historian, captain of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, awarded prize-winners and winners of international and all-Ukrainian Olympiads in history, law and social sciences. He emphasized that knowledge of history is not just an academic discipline, but a tool for the struggle for truth and the preservation of national identity.
🔹 Vladlen Marayev, a famous Ukrainian historian, author of the YouTube channel “History without Myths”, made a presentation “The Phenomenon of Ukrainian invincibility: historical context”. He explained how Ukraine has resisted external threats for centuries and why today’s struggle is a continuation of the national tradition.
🏆 Awarding the best
Within the block, awards were presented to the winners of international and all-Ukrainian Olympiads in the humanitarian disciplines. The distinguished students showed a high level of knowledge in the following areas:
✔ History of Ukraine and world history – the study of Ukrainian statehood, the role of Ukraine in world events.
✔ Law and international law – legal literacy as the basis of a democratic society.
✔ Philosophy and sociology – analytics of modern challenges and processes that affect the development of the state.
