General information about FPU

The Foundation of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science and Sports is a state institution created to support and develop talented Ukrainians in the fields of education, science and sports.

The Foundation was established by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 357/2018 of November 6, 2018, and in 2023 received the status of a state non-profit enterprise (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 688 of July 7, 2023).

We work to restore and reveal the human potential of Ukraine, to make the country stronger and strengthen its leadership positions in the world. After all, we believe: human capital is the main driving force of the state's development.

Who we are

We are a team that works to ensure that the youth of Ukraine have more opportunities for development and can realize their potential. As an institution, we create an ecosystem of opportunities for talented Ukrainians to develop in Ukraine and with it, strengthening the country's position in the world.

What do we do?

The Foundation of the President of Ukraine supports and provides conditions for:

• obtaining education in master's and doctoral programs (Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Science) at leading universities and scientific institutions in Ukraine and the world;

• completing internships and participating in international seminars and conferences where Ukrainian youth represent the country;

• involving foreign teachers, scientists and public figures in joint work with Ukrainian universities and scientific institutions;

• recognizing pupils, students, young scientists, athletes and coaches for their achievements;

• supporting teachers who prepare winners of international Olympiads;

• implementing projects in the fields of education, science and sports, in particular innovative educational technologies and digital transformation.

We work to ensure that Ukrainians have all the opportunities to gain knowledge, research, victories and development - and to make Ukraine stronger in the world.
